MEDITECH Client Server Not Printing (Solution)

Paul, a Network Administrator, from Memorial Medical Center writes in with this solution:

meditech tree

In the August 6 issue, you wrote about the RDP workaround for printing in MT.

We had the same issue with a few of our users. However, what we did to solve
it was to set up MT printing on the remote machine similar to how it is set up on a terminal server. Set Document Manager to run as a service.

From either a DOS prompt, or a RUN prompt, type the following:

"C:\Program Files\MEDITECH\Print\VMagicPPII.exe" -i

..or browse to the path:

C:\Program Files\MEDITECH\Print\VMagicPPII.exe

...this will populate the RUN prompt. Then, after the last " hit spacebar then -i

Click OK.
