5.6 MEDITECH Report InActivation

MEDITECH 5.6 on the way? Its likely MEDITECH has recommended you inactivate any reports that aren't in use, before the upgrade.

Identifying reports that aren't being used, by the Report Usage Log, is a good start. Next ... to make sure the reports on your Not Recently Used List aren't active report fragments, try using the MEDITECH Search Reports for Fields routine.

You can find it on your NPR menu under Miscellaneous Routines.

MEDITECH Fragment Search

Key in rw.fragment as your search criteria and enter the other fields as shown.

MEDITECH search reports

When the report search completes, you'll have a list of fragments to review. No doubt some of the fragments can be inactivated, but others you'll want to keep.

John,

I have run the report usage log, and the search for rw.fragments, but being new to NPR I'm not sure what it's telling me.

Can you explain, and what is your suggestions in clean-up to get ready for 5.6 ?
