Meditech Knowledge Exchange (KE)

Meditech KEJoel Spolsky & Jeff Atwood started Stack Exchange as a paid service.  Stack Exchange has been the platform for the Meditech Knowledge Exchange (KE).  The Stack Exchange allowed people like me to sponsor a forum ad free.

Before Joel and Jeff allowed their beta customers to start paying, they took funding from investors, and changed the rules.  The new rules required ads and giving up control of how the Meditech KE site worked.

As of today, the Meditech KE as it has existed is dead.  A big thank you to all of you who participated, it wouldn't have happened without you.  If you'd like to see the Meditech KE resurrected on another platform, ad free, please comment below.

Any forum, blog or means of sharing Meditech information would be a welcome; especially to the growing number of individuals, everyday, finding themselves needing Meditech Support.

That is such a shame!

I hope you were at least able to export the data.

I used the site as an archive as well as Q/A.

I HATE that they did that.

Wow. As a consultant and with little access to other co-consultants I am always searching the sites for information and posing questions. I have gained quite a lot from -KE and hope avenues stay open to all of us out there trying to move forward and learn from one another.
