Solution: CS Print Purge for Meditech Client Server

Deleting 50,000 spool files using Windows Explorer can take a long time.  Deleting this many files once, is no problem.  Lately, I've been working on MEDITECH NPRs generating files with sizes measured in GB.  Deleting that many spool files on a daily basis for multiple machines can only be described as: boring.

Now: there's an app for that: CS Print Purge

CS Print Purge

Experience automated spool file deletion for your larger extracts, select

  1. file filter, as in null or no file extension
  2. file path for the long running extract, usually located at c:\program files\meditech\print\cs print spool\ with a subfolder of 0, 1, 2, or 3 depending on how many print jobs are going at once
  3. file age, as in 180 minutes or 3 hours old

This app is available to you free of charge. Download and click Run.
