MEDITECH Client Server Recent Printer List

When the Meditech Client Server Recent Printer List is out of synch with your installed printers on Windows; your Summit or Boston Workstation scripts can get hung up.

To reset your MEDITECH Recent Printer List, to match the installed Windows Printers, as directed in MEDITECH KB 22530:

  • Close all MEDITECH sessions on the machine.
  • Locate the C:\Program Files\Meditech\MagicCS\Data\ folder on your Windows scripting machine.
  • Select and enter the site folder.  This folder will likely be the name of your MEDITECH Universe.  In most cases there will be only 1 subfolder here.
  • Enter the \Printers\ folder.
  • Delete the \Print Data\ folder.

Next time you print from Client Server on this machine, the MEDITECH printer list will match the list on your machine.
