Nursing Care Plans are the primary instrument used to communicate problems, goals and progress in the recovery process. Tracking and resolving out of date care plans for patients is a primary concern for the Chief Nursing Officer.
Project
The Chief Nursing Officer, the Charge Nurse, & John Sharpe of Comstock Software jointly designed and implemented a report to proactively identify out of date Patient Care Plans.
Results
Charge Nurses can now use the Clinical Documentation by Intervention Exception report to identify and update out of date Care Plans.
