Initializing a MEDITECH standard report never works when you really need it to. That's not a knock on NPR; NPR does what it was intended to do very well, maybe even better than it was designed to ... its that converting code is a very tough thing to do.

NPR Client Server - Scheduled Report - Build File Path Macro

To specify the report name for a scheduled Client Server report, you need to write a macro to set the file path.

You then call that macro from the report's title.  The syntax can be hard to remember, and you want to get it just right. Use this tool to get that right.

MEDITECH MAGIC Report Scheduler

Ken calls me ... a MEDITECH MAGIC report I'd scheduled isn't showing up.

To find root cause, I needed to know 1) if the report has been running every day; and 2) whether or not the files contain the right data.

... I printed the report's scheduling history to my desktop via DOWNLOAD.

That's funny, look @ that ... I entered the incorrect date format when I scheduled the report.

To fix - I printed my NPR to the SCHED print option and overwrote my previous schedule using the sliding date.  

All fixed Ken, and next time I'll remember the right date format, great catch!

Meditech CS 5.6 Report Scheduling

Maybe you’ve heard: Client Server 5.6 comes with a new feature, the Report Scheduler.

Scheduling reports with date prompts requires a specific process.  You must enter the date at Scheduling Time to look like this:
